2010 OR XC MTB Series

* 70% or 7 races will count from the list of quality events below for both the individual competition and the Team Competition, if more races are added then this total will be increased. The Series will end with Picketts Charge and all ties are decided at this event. YOU MUST Finish 7 races to count for the overall.

* 1 point for 1st, 2 points for second, ect lowest points wins the overall, so race them all and toss out your slowest races

* Team points are the same with 5 being the lowest team score (best 5 members finishes) at a race, so 5 people must finish from your team to count a race and you need to be wearing your team jersey and be an annual OBRA member. Please note that your team can only score points from categories that field 5 or more competitors. Any category fielding less that 5 riders will receive one penalty point added for each person under the 5 minimum

* Series Finals decides all ties for individual and teams. Best score would be a 7 or 35 for a team of 5, 1st place finishes per event

* Team Trophies for 1st,2nd and 3rd place teams. Prize Pools for each team TBA to be given out at the final race

* Custom Louis Garneau Jersey for each series category in 2010

* Giant Bicycles has donated a complete 29er XTC Hardtail for a series long raffle

Special NOTE: EACH event will have plates to give you. You will not have a hard plastic plate sent to you with your OBRA membership

1 point for participation, 1 bonus point for top 3 placing. Custom Trophy to Area representative to be passed to the winning region each year

Region 4 Southern Oregon (Roseburg South)

* Junior Mtn Cup. Inside of the Oregon XC Series, we will be having a mini series that we will focus on to cater to Junior riders and these races are listed below. See Junior MTN Cup page for more info
