If you can assist with your time, I could use your help at any of my events. Most events have a community group attached to them and I still need more folks for set up, aide stations or various positions. Say your a racer….bring a friend or two to help and race for free…..its that easy. You will need to pre-arrange it, but its a great way to save some cash and help. Some of my bigger events have a multi-day set up and you could help before or after and make the biggest difference.
Current needs:
Sweeps and Pre-sweeps for the 100 mile races and aide personal (limited spots available for the TOE 100 and HC 100) You get me 2 volunteers and you race for free. You could even help with packet pickup and get a volunteer for the day and race for free.
Other Needs at each race
Course sweep: Ride behind the last rider and assist with hurt riders and or let the aide station know that the course is clear
Course Clear: Bring your backpack and clear ribbons, gel wrappers, signs as needed. Many times this is a paid position at 20.00 per hr, so what a great time being outside and getting paid to ride your bike. 1st come opportunity!
