Race Report DID you have a great time!

Warm Sunshine and happy trails abounded at the 22nd annual Mudslinger, brought to you by Peak Sports. Fast….and maybe the fastest conditions ever for Chris Sheppard (Rocky Mountain Bikes)

to pull out the win after a tussle with Sean Babcock (Team S &M) after 8 miles. Sean took the lead down the first trip on Panama and quickly came out onto the last 14 miles of course with Sheppard hot on his tail……winning time 1:39:34 to Sean’s time of 1:40:34 with Oregon Mega Pro Erick Tonkin in Third at 1:42:25. In the womens race Sue Butler (Rivercity Bicycles) took another Mudslinger  Crown with a time of 2:10:01. I can only tell how good a race is after 16 years by the comments….plenty were sore(Check) people were smiling (check) Food was good (check) music and announcer were great (check) and the support was solid (check) so all and all 250 people had a great time, what else could I ask for. Bonus was Kenji doing his first Mountain Bike race….great job Kenji!

Thanks to all who made the Mudslinger a great event…….we raised 750.00 for the Blodgett-summit grange and helped trail work in the Coast range of Oregon

Mike and Family and Team Dirt
