IT may have been the fastest Puff ever with Cary Smith (Hammer Nutrition) Taking home the Overall win in 8:33 ahead of Evan Plews (evanplews.com) on a reported 38×16 or 18 SS in 8:52. Third overall was Ben Parsons in 8:56. In the Womens Race, the Big S was in effect with Rebecca Rusch (Specialized/Red Bull) taking home the win in 9:33, not only good enough for the win, but good enough for 10th overall combined Men/Women. The temps were a bit warm at 85-90 degrees under at 2000 ft or less through most of the afternoon, and with a finisher rate of 83% proved that this was a tough crowd of Cream Puff Participants.
