The trail name says it all.
Course pre-rides and route finalization is going well as the snow slowly melts off “up high”.
Thanks again to COTA, Phil McLassen and the rest of Bend who keeps these trails in such great shape and trees cut out. Remember, $50 from every entry fee goes towards this work so everytime you ride here, it will be this good!
For some reason my tires gravitate up to Wanoga Sno-Park outside of Bend, Oregon and keep pointing down the new Funner and Tiddlywinks trails. You can check out some of the exploration routes on my MotionBased site: http://benthompson.motionbased.com as we scope things out.
Luckily the HC 100 will be starting with nothing less than a FUNNER loop, then another 75 miles of singletrack bliss…so SIGN UP NOW!

Special Note about the Race Entry Fee:
Mudslinger Events aims to provide the best experience possible with great courses, food and support for you - the racer. If you’ve ever attended a Mudslinger event I think you know what I mean.
Additionally we are trying to support the local Bend community by:
- $50.00 from every entry goes
to COTA to support their $10,000
fundraising goal for local trails.
The rest goes into making sure you end the day with a smile on your face. The logistics and costs associated with doing a 100 mile single lap race add up to be a very expensive operation. Believe me, this is not a big profit maker.
- In order to help ease the pain a little for Mudslinger Events regulars, I will be doing a 20% discount for TOE 50 entrants and 8 HR entrants for the HC 100. Please email me for details.
- I will be doing early entry for 2010 and special pricing for all 2009 racers.
Why this race is worth those hard earned dollars:
