The Big Ride

Departing at 8:30 am Saturday from Bohema Park in Cottage Grove, with an optional early start option of 30 minutes, the Oregon Gran Fondo has something for every enthusiast cyclist!

8 am start times available for more casual riders wanting a few more minutes to be ahead of the aid station cut off times.

Awards and Celebration

Custom Awards, as always, for 11 divisions, awarded starting at 1:30pm and 2:30 pm.

Food Vendors to use your food voucher on site or use in the local Community and on site for quick after-event re-fueling.
Additionally, the overall champions (combined categories) of the Long and Short courses will receive free entry to next year's event if they sign up prior to January 1

The 2nd and 3rd place overall finishers (combined categories) will receive 50% off their entry for next season.

  • Due to the narrow roads and the safety of other participants, no outside feeding of riders is permitted for the Oregon Gran Fondo! Please note that for Gran Riders at Aid 2, we have 50 pre-filled Oregon Gran Fondo bottles to grab and go! 

  •  THE COURSE IS MARKED WITH 5-MILE MARKERS AND YARD SIGNAGE ALONG WITH PINK ARROWS. WE LOVE KEEPING YOU ON TRACK! DOWNLOAD THE GPX FILE TO YOUR COMPUTER BY HEADING TO THE RIDE WITH GPX MAP AND EXPORTING. 

  • 28MM Slicks recommended or 32's for the Medio  or Gran loop

  • Thirty minutes is available on registration for those who need extra time. Please check in to be noted on the early start list so we can track your time correctly. Remember this is Rules of the Road, and you will not have a police escort like the main 8:30 am wave. Please yield to faster riders and pull over to the right! Thanks!

  • Yes, a Class 1 Pedal Assist E-bike division starts 30 minutes before the main start wave for the Medio FONDO ONLY! Please be aware that the main fast group of riders may still catch you. Please yield and enjoy the day on this challenging but fun loop. We do not offer battery support yet.
