What's Required to Join?
The Adventure Squad welcomes gravel, mountain bike, and cyclocross riders who enjoy being part of a positive and supportive cycling community.
We keep this low-key on purpose — with riders coming from all over (Bend, Portland, Boise, Seattle, and beyond), the easiest way to actually connect as a team is simply showing up to events together.
To participate in 2027, Adventure Squad members are asked to:
- Participate in at least two events during the year, as your schedule allows.
- Purchase a current Adventure Squad jersey and bibs from Pactimo at our special Pro-level pricing.
- Order during one of our Pactimo team-store windows, offered in November/December and on request in Late January/February.
- Sign the Adventure Squad Code of Conduct and annual ride waiver.
- Follow the rules of the road and represent Mudslinger Events, Sagebrush Cycles, and the cycling community in a positive way.
Where and When We Ride
We're keeping it simple: two events a year, wear the jersey with pride, and if you see someone new out on a ride, invite them along.
Toward the end of the season, we'll also organize an optional group ride for anyone who wants to connect in person outside of race day.
As we move into event season, we'll publish a seasonal schedule and highlight events where multiple Adventure Squad members plan to participate.
Lead by Example
Adventure Squad members are encouraged to lead by example, support fellow riders, smile often, and enjoy a great day on the bike — whether riding dirt, gravel, or pavement.
